God works in us by drawing us to Himself. (John 6:44 NKJV)  "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.

The word draw in this verse literally means “to drag”. However, God draws us gently. (Hosea 11:4 NKJV)  I drew them with gentle cords, With bands of love, And I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck. I stooped and fed them. God never pushes us into service, He always "draws" us to Himself. When God calls us to a place, He goes ahead of us, prepares the way, and then calls us to come to the place He has prepared, it is there where He waits to receive us. It is in His presence that we find God’s anointing.
